Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on behalf of the Chinese government, officially submitted the application for membership to the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) through the Chinese Embassy in France, and has now entered the stage of substantive collection of views from member states. China is expected to become the 51st full member of the OIV at the 100th anniversary celebration in November. Under this opportunity, the expo invited representatives of OIV, the Global Wine Tourism Organization (GWTO), the Organizing Committee of the Brussels International Wine Competition, the Bordeaux region of France and other international wine organizations and regions to attend, and invited more than 60 well-known wineries and exhibitors from France, Australia, Italy, Spain, Chile and other countries to participate in the exhibition.
